The fourth of the Ten Commandments:

Exodus 20: 8-11
"Remember the Sabbath day; to keep it holy.  Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:  But the Seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates.  For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested.  The Seventh day, wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it."
The Sabbath, as originally ordained, is Yahweh's (God's) commandment.  It is to be observed today in its original form.  God never changed it.

History and scripture proves that for about four thousand years, (up to about two thousand years ago) God's people observed the Sabbath by watching the Moon to know what day the Sabbaths were. Men, not God, later started a continuously repeated seven day week that has nothing to do with the Moon.

People forgot the correct Sabbath.

Lam 2:6
"[Yahweh] caused the ...Sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion."
We are approaching the end time,  We are to awake, and to remember, and obey.
Gen. 1:14

"And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons [meaning 'appointments'] and for days, and years."

So, the Seventh day is the Sabbath.  It's the Seventh day of the week, but not the week we witness in today's popular, man-made, calendar.

The New Moon shows itself in the sky at the beginning of the God ordained new month (not the calendar month).  Notice the first appearance of the Moon's crescent in the Western Sky.  Sabbaths are then revealed to us later on in the month, for each week of the month.
