Intelligent Life on the Net

Latest Update June  2005

As we enter into this realm that is sometimes called "cyberspace," we look at the life forms in this part of space, and then descending in our spacecraft and operating our sensors, we search and note that, though often the search is vain, and though there are many life forms with abundant insanity, illogic, falsehood, and hostility, now and then we find...

These 5 people bring unintelligent life to the net.  Elsewhere on
these pages, I show examples of the much sought-after "Intelligent
Life On the Net."    Click at the following links for examples of this
lack of intelligence.  I've isolated this list from the remainder on these
pages because these are the most obsessive, so they have been afforded
the greater space and detailed descriptions.  One advantage the reader
may gain from reading this is the study of unusual, and complex people.
Ken Kizer (aka "CFA") If anyone were to ask me who on these pages shows the least
intelligence, my answer would be Ken Kizer, (aka "CFA")  The
slang expressions "suck-up" and "sell-out" come to mind when I
remember him.  He evades. and is deceptive.  Logic seems
to be something foreign to him.  His view is myopic.

Del Robert Mulroy (aka "Neykomi Lee") -- troubled, self-tortured, deluded, and obsessed habitual liar

John Fitzsimons  -- obsessed "control-freak" -- evasive and unable to communicate directly

Bob Officer  -- "control-freak" and non-stop "attack machine" for the skepticult --
seems psychologically unable to write anything that is true

Widdershins (probably a pseudonym)  This one exhibits writings of hatred, and is a bully.
He shows blind dedication to his cause.  His writing shows that he
does, indeed, want pro-paranormalists to stop posting in alt.paranormal.
Though he demonstrates deception, a large amount of that is self-deception.

Now and then we come across such intelligent life, and we will report it  when we find it.

For those who say this is about "skeptics," there are examples of some people who have written as proponents of astrology or the paranormal.  No, it's not about "skeptics."  It's about Sense-honesty-Civility and Intelligent Life On the Net.

Mutt 1  -- Self-styled "expert," "Mutt" discusses parapsychology, astrology, etc.  The setting is a coffee shop and bookstore. Read this if you want something to laugh about.

Mutt 16 -- "Mutt" discusses the nature of belief, and about people he assumes are too sure about their beliefs.  he also writes about debate.

Mutt 17 -- "Mutt" flames people.

Bob Officer   The favorite subject of this person is "spam." It's not real spam.  Evidence shows it's more like some illusion of it.  He denigrates the character of proponents.   He's a Skepticult member.

Kristine Campbell 1 -- She raves about the accused, alleged, "charlatan" who would dare to advertise psychic services on the Internet.  This is good study material.  She has posted with the a slightly different e-mail
address, but may be located via GOOGLE by entering
"Kristine Campbell."  She has posted in alt.fan.art-bell,
principally.

"EMPATH" - 1 through 6 - puzzling but interesting character to study

The above, obviously, especially in context with the reminder of my writing, to people capable of thinking, meansthe majority is not necessarily right.  It does not meanthe majority is necessarily wrong.

I don't believe the writing below, a reaction to the above, reveals a capacity for rational thought.

Yes, anyone who writes such stupidity should call them self...

If you want to know what is UN-INTELLIGENT about that, well, for one, it's the fact that it arouses curiousityabout my site, and there in INFOSEEK, is thereference to the site he wrote of.

       http://www.psicounsel.com/page9328-a.htm

and the information on the site, shows exactly what motivates people, like himself, to do what he does at his site -- write derogitory statements about other people who
disagree with him.

INFOSEEK advertises "Proof of Intelligent Life on the Net" but they are a SEARCH ENGINE that accepts, automatically, entries from silly people like Dan Pressnell.

There's no-one around, at 4 AM, when the fingers of a snickering Dan Pressnell tap out the dirty work on INFOSEEK, as all that he writes get's placed, and like USENET, no-one decides if it's in bad taste, or lacks sense.

The other SEARCH ENGINES, as a whole, examine the material before placing it.  They exercise judgement and good taste.  That, it would seem, is why Dan Pressnell cannot place this  ridiculous writing on the other Search Engines.

I have my writing, however, on the other SEARCH ENGINES, as I have genuine services offered, not hate literature.

The above is a good example of the lack of intelligence and maturity on the INTERNET.

To find the above, just enter "Bruce Daniel Kettler" in
INFOSEEK (www.infoseek.com).

Since this is a criticism of the site, and the quotes are minimal, there's no copyright infringement.  It's considered "fair use policy," in copyright law.

"Our mission began when one Bruce Daniel Kettler, an insane psychic "business man,"  decided to share his wild rants and spamulent advertisements with the entire usenet community."
The above quote, and use of the word "insane" is slander.

          "...advertised 900 # type psychic
          services to lonely teenagers"

The above quote is a lie, as I have no 900 line services.  I do offer telephone services, but they are hardly what could be called a "psychic hot line," or 900 line.  I realize that reprehensible behavior of certain 900 line services has discredited the industry, but as with any business, there's the good and the bad.

As for "lonely teenagers," I do offer my services indiscriminately, within the allowance of the law and ethics.

"He insists that we are not
           humans, but 'computer generated
           clones.'"

The above a fabrication, as my reference to "clones" was not literal, but rather a description of how programmed the mind is of a person who believes the doctrines of a cult.

There's a statement in an applet at the bottom of what may be viewed with a NETSCAPE browser, that I, supposedly, encourage children to look at pornography.  That's another lie.

The alleged "pornography" he referred to is this.  The dictionary defines "pornography" as something which is intended to sexually arouse, and it is commonly known as explicit graphic illustration, either by photographs, drawn pictures, or the written word.  To contend that this was pornography is ludicrous.

As for bigotry, what is it that Walsh and his group are fighting for? There are no USENET rules to prevent them from shouting bigoted ideas and lies about people on the INTERNET, but they and other fanatics are being exposed for that activity by myself and others. It is because of my efforts to expose them that these lies about me are so prevelant on the INTERNET.

These people have a favorite method of attempting to prove the other person wrong, and that is to lie about them, so that, supposedly, people believe what the person had written must have been wrong.
Three examples of bigotry from this CULT:

 Example 1
Example 2
Example 3

Following is from the keeper of the above mentioned site:

Jon Walsh writes:

So, I got a hold of a psychic
advertised on his site. It turns
out that this man didnt' even work
              for Bru anymore. How ethical.

The above statement is a lie.  The person had not refused to take any business from me, nor had he asked for his name to be removed.

        True/False Prophet of the SKEP-TI-CULT®

The above is from Jon's "signature."

On July 21 1997 Jon 'big dave' passed more lies on to
the general USENET audience, making his dishonesty
abundantly evident:

Before you begin to take Bru seriously,
you should know that he is balancing an
the brink of sanity. This man was laughed
at by Art Bell, a man who swallowed such
events as "Mel's Hole" and the "Lizard Lady"
          with ne'er a chuckle. <snip>

He quotes me out of context, or misquotes me altogether.  The above statement about being "laughted at by Art Bell," is a lie.  Jon Walsh's writing of me on the WEB and USENET indicates an obsession with me.

The reference to a laugh, supposedly at me, is ridiculous.  This page shows why.

(BDK's writing revised by BDK, and comments added)

I, BDK, wrote:

Another lie. I never "got mad" at anyone for telling me there was no spaceship following hale-bopp. I'd never written there was.
Jon Walsh wrote:
Hmmm...I guess those posts that were in all capital letters calling people as*****s and jerks and telling them to go to hell were nice posts? Spaceship boy.
The above, another lie about my writing on USENET, supposedly because I'd found people disagreeing with my ideas of HALE-BOPP. The only reason I've been uncivil on USENET, was because others had lied about me, or had written nasty remarks.
A lack of honest here also. Bruce was a main proponent of the aliens trailing hale-bopp theory.
The above, again, is an obvious lie as I'd only written that it was the theory of another person, Dr. Courtney Brown, a professor at a major university. That's does not place me in the category of a "proponent."

Here, I quote myself, a comment of Jon's
writing of me from long ago:

"No, all you have shown, here, through your
digging up posts from a year ago, is that
    I change." [my crossposting rules-as
                USENET itself changes]

Walsh had quoted my subject headers as follows:

             >     1 WWW site $9. MO
             >     1 We set up your WWW site
             >     1 YOUR WEB SITE 9/MO
             >     1 Your WWW ad & PIC
             >     1 Your WWW site/we set up

...and, of course, my comment was:

"Yes, I've had that on the net.  How long ago
was that?  And, since it was so long ago, why
are you writing about it now?  If there was a
problem with it, in your mind, and it was last
week, or even last month, then I could see some
sense to your writing about it now."

So, Jon's attempt was to discredit me by writing that I supposedly did something I'd just pointed out should not be done.

According to this "thinking" of Jon, the astrology post equated to the same type of writing that I'd criticised in the above writing:

"...since it was so long ago, why
are your writing about it now."
